FRS {SYSVOL} Objects in Active Directory

FRS:
File Replication Service
Replicates files between 2 Servers
By default, FRS Replicates the content of SYSVOL between all the domain controllers
When we configure DFS, the data which is configured in DFS also replicates using FRS (When replication in DFS is Enabled)

In this post, we will discuss the various places in Active Directory, where we will find the entries of FRS in particular related to SYSVOL

This will then help us later to create/verify the FRS objects in AD

The 3 nodes where we will find the FRS (SYSVOL) objects are:

1. Domain Partition -> Domain Controller OU -> <DC Name> -> NTFRS Subscriptions -> NTFRS Subscriber

2. Domain partition -> System -> File Replication Service -> Domain System Volume (SYSVOL) -> <DC Name>

3. Configuration Partition -> Sites -> <Site Name> -> Servers -> <DC Name>
